K-City Radio is an evening show of live music, guests and conversation staged in the style of a live radio recording in front of a theatre audience.
Inspired by e-town in Boulder, Colorado (www.etown.org) a weekly live music event syndicated across radio stations in the US, K-City Radio promotes quality musical events featuring nationally-known performers.
The ethos of K-City Radio is to entertain, to inspire and to educate.
K-City Music Tuesdays take place on the last Tuesday of every month in the Gulbenkian Theatre Bar / Café.
As a scaled-down version of the radio show, the aim is to provide a showcase for up-coming local talent whilst also featuring wider-known performers such as Kris Drever and Jackie Leven.
